Figuring It Out

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. 
James 3:18

I think of my wife when I read James 3:18. Our yard is full of rescued flowers and color; because her favorite thing is to browse the half-dead flowers on Lowes’ discount rack, bring them home, and nurture them back to life. Actually, that’s her second favorite thing. Her favorite thing is teaching children how to play music. I say she puts smiles on little faces, music in little hearts, and confidence in young souls. She loves children and they love her. She sows peace and makes her part of the world a more beautiful place to live. She is a peaceful influence to everyone around her, and we all reap a harvest of righteousness from the peace that she sows.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
